Alaska Oceans Festival
Celebrating Our Water Planet
2003 Highlights
The 2003 Alaska Oceans Festival was a unique educational event held as a celebration of our connection to Alaska’s oceans and a chance to reflect on the importance it has on our lives. With over 35,000 miles of coastline and some of the world’s most biologically diverse marine waters, Alaska plays an important role in the health of the world’s oceans.
A variety of dynamic and exciting individuals worked together to help us achieve our goal of creating a diverse community event that people of all walks of life could experience. We hope you enjoy the photographs from the 2003 Alaska Oceans Festival.
